ALLY LOUIA – The 26-year-old woman, Ally Louia, has reportedly unplugged the life support of her grandfather because her phone’s battery drained and needed to be recharged.
Reasons are used as an excuse to something which has done by someone but other reasons are just inexcusable and irrevocably unreasonable.
Especially if those reasons do not make any sense at such serious and a matter of life and death situations.
Just like how the netizens got disappointed to what the 26-year-old woman, Ally Louia, has done to her grandfather when she visited him in the hospital and was the only one tasked to look after the old man.
Her grandfather has a lung cancer and was on a life support.
When she was left alone and the phone of her battery got drained, she decided to disconnect the life support of her grandpa and plugged the charger of her mobile device.
She said in defense of act, “Let’s see: my phone was at 1%, which can be described as a critical situation. Besides, my mother asked me to text her how my grandpa was doing right after getting to the hospital, so I had to do it.”
Aside from sending a message as an update to her mother, she was also able to take some photos of her grandpa and posted it on social media.
“No way, I just did it to prove them that he was okay. And yes, it’s true that he was turning blue, but I thought that that was an Instagram filter.”
She said when the old man was struggling to breathe in oxygen.
According to the source, Ideas Fun, she even blamed her friends and followers on a particular social media site for not telling her that her grandpa was already losing oxygen.
“People could have also warned me, instead of just tapping ‘Like’”, she complained.
However, the old man was able to reach the control to call the infirmary and the doctors were just in time to save him.
The girl stated, “They freaked out when they realized that the respirator was turned off. I asked them if there was another socket in the room but they didn’t answer. I think it’s unfair that there was only one socket”
“I understand your anger and I share it. But we gotta look for solutions. We either buy one of those external batteries for my phone or we buy another one,” she added.
